should you take care of GORE-TEX®
clothing?
IXS
clothing equipped with GORE-TEX®
can be machine washed without
problems and still functions as
before after many washes.
Remove any protectors beforehand
and pay attention to the sewn-in
label with care instructions. |
Washing: In the gentle
cycle with convential
detergents for delicate
fabrics without any
softners. Only fill
the water 2/3 full.
Extensive rinsing after
washing is especially
important. The water
softening substances of
the detergent must be
rinsed out
completely. Only
spin fro a short time.
Pretreat
dirt or grease spots with
conventional cleaning
agents. The outer
material can be
waterproofed again if
required.
The
outer material does not
have any influence on the
waterproofness of the
GORE-TEX membrane. |

complicated and
demanding.
Consequently, they can
only be made by licensed
